Exciting news!!

For me, anyway.

I have been accepted into my first juried show, with my "Blue Lady"!! I woke up to the message on the phone this morning. The woman who left the message let me know I'd been accepted into the show, and also that I've been selected for one of the Juror's Awards. She added, "and just to let you know, your painting was one of my favourites in the show". !! I am high as a kite right now and I don't even know what to think.

SO excited!!

I love it, I want to try to make one! I sewed a skirt for myself last summer, with panels and godets and a properly sewn zipper and everything, and it came out great, but for it being like seven sizes too big. Damn.
